Current Talent Specification
The extra point debate
- Phantasm – I feel it is a useful tool on some encounters to break free of some snares/slows as a way to move to a new area faster, thus, maximizing DPS. I would put your free point here.
- Masochism – This talent is a must for at least the first tier of raiding. I have found mana to be a major concern in Cataclysm raiding. Definitely go 2/2 in this talent.
- Inner Sanctum – While I feel Inner Sanctum may be a better choice than Masochism or Phantasm on paper (purely hypothetical speculation), I feel the added benefits from this talent are not worth while and should be avoided.
Lack of Points Into Utility Talents – In order to achieve a maximum DPS spec, we will be forced to skip utility talents such as Improved Psychic Scream, Silence, Paralysis, and Psychic Horror. However, With your extra talent point, it is now possible to pick up Psychic Horror at the expense of 1/2 in Phantasm. While the other two talents may prove useful in certain situations, it is recommended not to spec into them as a level 85 raiding spec. Thus my final specification for Cataclysm raiding is as below

Spell Prioritisation
BUILD 1 (Cata) – Swp – dp – vt – mf -mf -mf with a refresh of dots as required. Mindblast is fired off when orbs are available to maximise dps output
SW:D under 20% with glyph as an execute as well as on movement as a filler along with recast of plague.
Shadow Fiend is used on every CD as a dps increase. Archangel when best to do so maximising mana and dps return

Consumables
I always use relevant items / flasks (Draconic), pots (Volcanic), food (Int or haste), other class buff food (depending on what I’ve caught that day), as well as enchanting mats and gems for any upgrades I may acquire. These include spare shoulder and head enchants, and threads. I also have in raid access to a bank, a trader and a repair mammoth with vendors.
Professions
Engineering 540. With the additional stacking of engineering and traditional enchants, as of 4.0, this becomes the preferred profession.
Enchanting 525. I have always been an enchanter and I have nearly every enchant in the game. The Ring bonus is a great plus, as well as enchanting being a money spinner.
Addons and UI
Current UI : Super Modified UI for reduced memory footprint and “hybrid” capabilities.
BigWigs as this seems to be the best of the rest
Forte Xorcist for all Cooldowns / timers etc
Power Auras for specific reminders, trinket pops, debuffs (eg. Engulfing Magic at Valiona and Theralion)
SKADA for Threat and Encounter Logs
GRID with Status mods so I can always see debuffs etc for use with clique
ORA2 for simple targeting and Raid Management

Other Information
I am a dedicated raiding priest, with very high attendance and raid leading experience. I also enjoy a little PVP something I wish to increase this season.
